The Beard/No Beard Challenge

Hi my name is CJ and because it is winter time and getting colder, I am highly considering growing a beard.

There are many advantages to growing a beard. I know you’re wondering what they are so I will list some.

1. I grow one step closer to looking like a viking.

2. I will give off the perception of  deep thought when really I am just stroking my chin.

3. People may think that I hunt bears or go ice fishing just by looking at me.

There are also some disadvantages that I am wary of:

1. I have tried this before, and each time my mustache refuses to connect with the rest of my beard. It’s like there are these two spots on my face that refuse to give up their child-like innocence.

2. It is difficult to maintain and often itchy.

3. I have never hunted a bear and have never been ice fishing. I don’t want to live a lie.

So you decide. Should I grow a beard or not?
